Bird on a Bike is back!!

"Well thats me back from the Birds on Bikes trip....to sum it up, it was fantastic everyone bar a few folk that would moan about everything and anything said that they had a fab time and cant wait til next year.

East Fortune - Sept 10th

Great day out at East Fortune, Duncan Baillie aka Punkroadracer came out of retirement and borrowed the Mrs's bike (very brave man) and did really well for his first time out.

Weather was also brilliant and ended up with heatstroke :-(

No one took a camera so sadly no photos.

Birds on Bikes

Heard briefly from hEaD yesterday and the run was a success and they made it to Cardiff, will post up as soon as I know any more i.e. how much was raised for the Breast Cancer Campaign.

This is Ronnie who lives in Tenerife, thought I post a wee piccy of him on his new toy!

The Bikes

There are 11 members in our club who all have and ride bikes, although our mascot member Minor Slapper is currently riding a push bike but will be 16 next year and is threatening to get a scooter.

• Major Slapper rides a Honda CBR900 Fireblade and his good lady wife Hammered Slapper has a Kawasaki ZZR600,
• Total Slapper (me) has a lovely Kawasaki ER-6n and my better half Jiggy Slapper has a Honda CBR1000 Fireblade.
• Wasted & Tool Slappers have his and her Triumph Speed Triples.
• Posh and Flash Slappers have a Yahama Fazer and Honda CBR600.
• That leaves hEaD & Flying Slappers on their Yahama R1 & Honda VFR800.
